Pokemon used In VGC and Pokemon used in singes are completely different. Even if a Pokémon is used in both VGC and in competitive singles they aren't used in the same way. For example Charizard Y is a popular pokemon in VGC and in Gen6-7 OU but they arent used in the same way. In VGC He often has heat wave and helping hand but in singles he often uses only one fire type move and scorching sands. Items used are equally as different. For example Covert Cloak is popular in VGC yes obsolete in competitive singles and heavy duty boots are the same. Overall competitive Pokemon is different in the fan and official meta games. So naturally i decided to use VGC team to play competitive singles
