Showering video art animation of white water rapids trailing down a black background. Splashing when hitting one of multiple collision detection planes! Not too advance, but not too simple anymore...
This video was created in 2 parts. The first half was me setting up sub-emitters to create tiny explosions when the particle trails hit the invisible wall flooring. Nothing too special, but it was looped around in Windows Movie Maker with all kinds of video edits and transitions! The second half is more interesting. I become slightly more confident with my ability, so I mixed together multiple levels of elevation in my invisible planes! The actual 'rain' gets culled by the layer, but the resulting 'splash' effects (they still need work) get pulled down with gravity and create a wonderful spray. One major issue I have still is direction and angles of these kind of things. I'm not working in true 3D space for these animations, nor thinking with portals. Lots of loops showcasing visual effects and filters.

A little information about WriScriSeanThorn's YouTube Channel: Just creating some scenes, animating some stuff, emitting some particle effects. Currently, I'm working on the basics of Unity (3D / 2D), creating animated scenes using SqirlzReflect's weather and ripple effects, experimenting in Adobe Photoshop, video editing and visual filtering in Windows Movie Maker and finally, there might be some additional stuff created in Apophysis / Mandelbulb / SketchUp / Inkscape / Vectorian Giotto. Additional edits on footage is normally made with VirtualDub. I record using CamStudio.
