VistaSculpt has recently released a MASSIVE software update that completely redesigned the user interface and added powerful new modeling tools β€” including one of the most important additions: the Scene Explorer.

In a previous video, I walked step-by-step through the NEW VistaSculpt interface on Mac, explained where everything moved, and briefly mentioned the Scene Explorer to combine multiple models into a single composite STL file.

In the previous video I was unable to demonstrate the Scene Explorer or the more advanced tools. I also explained that there was not enough run time to determine if the software was going to be able to operate on the MacBook. Initial results looked promising but after weeks of working in the software and attempts to use the Scene Explorer it pains me to say that some of the software tools, especially the Scene Explorer will not work as designed on the MacBook.

With that said, the advanced tools are working well on my Windows computer and the workflow is a game-changer for CNC users who export relief models into Vectric vCarve or Aspire, allowing cleaner tool paths, better model control, and fewer headaches downstream. In this video I will demonstrate the use of the scene explorer as well as several other of the advanced tools. This is one of a series of videos I am releasing on how to use VistaSculpt software.
