Using the right reflector can make a HUGE difference in your photography or video and vlog lighting depending how close or far away the subject is. Some reflectors have hot spots while others don't because they are designed for different purposes. Learn the differences in types of bowens mount reflectors and why I prefer reflectors over softboxes when doing on location outdoor flash photography portraits in travel situations. Reflector vs softbox vs reflector is a common consideration to understand. Softboxes are not always optimal, especially when outdoors and doing outdoor flash photography and wedding photography. Reflectors put out MUCH more light than softboxes and are much brighter and can take great pictures. I use hard light for my photoshoots and vlog setups most of the time. Find out why.

I found the "fish scale" reflector- it's the reflector that comes with the Ulanzi VL200 light.
