Getting back to making videos for this channel, I purchased the Pivo Smartphone Mount, a device that can be attached to a tripod. You insert your smartphone - I'm using my iPhone XS - either in vertical or horizontal orientation, and launch the free Pivo app. Using the app, you then begin a video recording and the Pivo device rotates to follow you as you move before the camera, that is, smartphone. Brilliant! And, it works like a charm!
In this video I explain why I'm giving this handy little device a test and how I plan to use it. Plus, why I'm also considering reentering the 360º camera arena with the purchase of the latest Insta360 ONE X2 model.
