The pitch envelope allows us to create pitch modulation for the sample and modulation oscillator. With it, we can create strange pitch effects, tight percussive transients, or bowed-style sounds. To finish off, we cover the global settings, in which samples can be spread, transposed, and detuned, and we can add glide as well.
