Learn how the Flood and Drought Research Infrastructure's (FDRI) innovation team, led by Imperial College London and in partnership with UKCEH, are using open and low-cost hardware to make river monitoring more accessible and impactful.

Open hardware is an affordable, inclusive way to monitor rivers, providing high-volume data we can use to increase our resilience to floods and droughts, from better understanding flood plain flows to measuring the efficacy of natural flood management projects.
