My tips if you use henna: Don't forget to do a strand test like I did, henna can be unpredictable. Be careful when making it, you will have to use a knife, be VERY CAREFUL and/or get help, you will also be using hot water and the muddy henna could splash onto you as you're stirring it and stain your clothes. The mud will fall off your hair even after you've applied it so make sure you immediately cover your hair with clingfilm or a shower cap. COVER YOUR FLOOR WITH NEWSPAPER AND MOVE AWAY ANY OTHER POSSESSIONS YOU DON'T WANT HENNA TO SPLASH ONTO. Pay extra attention to your roots and try to apply quite fast as it is a strange consistency and dries quickly.
