The Ocala Design Group | Using Inkscape to Create Custom Cameo Files @jamieshawdesign2007 | Uploaded December 2013 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Hi Everyone!
It is time to pull out those Cameos I hope you got for Christmas, and get them out of the boxes! Today I am going to show you how to use Inkscape (inkscape.org/en/) to create custom files that you can cut with your Cameo. A while ago I taught you how to convert SVG files to cuttable files. and this is going one step further. All you need to do is download the FREE inkscape program, and then your Cameo software. Once both of these are done, you are ready to begin this journey. I did do this in video format so it was easier to follow along. I hope this inspires your to use your wonderful machine just a bit more. If you have any questions, please ask. I will try to help you in any way possible.
If you know anyone else who would like to see this information, please send them to this post!
