In this video we look at how to set up external synthesisers with Logic Pro X. Logic Pro X allows us to harness and record the sounds from a wealth of outboard gear via MIDI. This videos details the method used to use the Roland JV1080 and JUNO-Di with Logic Pro X.

We look at the use of Logic Pro X's External MIDI track. A track a lot of people have never used but one of the most powerful ones indeed!

Using external synthesisers with Logic Pro X is a great way to switch up your Logic Pro X workflow adding new sounds and ways of working. Even if you don't own a synth yet it's great to learn this implementation for use in the future weather in your own home studio or in a professional studio one day.
