Neuroscientist Kara Federmeier and her Cognition and Brain Lab use brain waves, a children's toy and biofeedback to help people control their mental states at the Beckman Institute Open House. Her lab uses electroencephalography (EEG) to explore how our brains build meaning during language comprehension, memory, and other cognitive tasks.
