Unity and Blender 2.8 compatibility does not currently work when using .blend files, however there should be no problem using exported Waveform OBJ files or DAE Collada files for example. 1. When you create a model in Blender 2.8 and put it into Unity 2018.
2. Even if you asign .blend file types to Blender 2.8, it also does not work but it looks a little different (bottom).
Maybe you already saw "Blender could not convert the .blend file to FBX file." but let us know if there's other messages. Write a comment! SOLVED: youtu.be/0HS-_jBtBeE
