Today I’m using a hot comb hair straightener (straightening comb) on my short natural type 4 hair to see how sleek I can get it. 👀

I have tightly coiled 4C hair and I have already blow dried and applied heat protectant to my hair. I wanted to test whether a hot comb would give me a smoother look — especially on shorter natural hair. It was helpful with stretching my hair as much as possible to make it easier for me to braid into a protective style that I was trying.
