Maybe only useful UP press in Super Mario Bros. Touches flagpole 10 frames earlier then tasvideos.org/1331M.html (without slowing down to avoid fireworks) and 6 frames earlier then TAS with L+R+D (faster falling to previous stair).
Somehow it also makes timer going to "346" 2 frames earlier then 2009 warpless TAS and 1 frame earlier then L+R+D TAS, but, still, it is 5 frames behind "347" and can't save actual time, because of fireworks.
Pressing UP during vine glitch makes Mario fall down slower and opens possibilty to go to the better stair. Pressing down makes falling down faster, which also faster then standart vine glitch from old warpless TAS, because it opens possibilty of accelerates on the ground faster. But it is slower then UP press, because previous stair prevents to build speed immideately. L+R+D vine glitch is actually necessary to do one of the hardest timesaves from TAS history - in 6-2 from world record warpless TAS youtube.com/watch?v=ZU4o-NizCuU
Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit!
