Wrath of Math | Use Pythagorean Identities to Evaluate Basic Integrals | Calculus 1 Exercises @WrathofMath | Uploaded 2 months ago | Updated 14 hours ago
We go over how to evaluate several basic trigonometric integrals using the pythagorean identities. We know sin^2x+cos^x=1, and from this we have 1+cot^2x=csc^2x and tan^2x+1=sec^2x and we will use these in four integral examples to simplify a trigonometric expression to one we know how to integrate. #apcalculus #calculus1
