Camp Hansen is a major United States Marine Corps base located in the northern part of Okinawa, Japan, near the town of Kin. It is home to more than 6,000 Marines, sailors, and attached personnel, serving as a primary training and staging hub in the Pacific.
Unlike some of the more urban bases in southern Okinawa, Hansen is known for its rugged terrain, dense jungle surroundings, and heavy focus on combat readiness.
