Amphibious Integration (June 2026): In a historic first, a CH-53K from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH-461) successfully landed aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) off the coast of North Carolina. This was part of the Type Commander’s Amphibious Training (TCAT), verifying the helicopter's ability to seamlessly integrate with U.S. Navy fleet operations.
