A US citizen and Captain Kang of the Korea People's Army have a friendly and candid conversation about the current state of affairs between their two opposing nations, with tour guide Ms Kim Jong Hwa acting as the translator.
The handshake that concludes their discussion personally signifies a beacon of hope where a potential nuclear war will never become reality, and a peaceful reunification of the two Koreas can happen sooner rather than later.
Video taken on the morning of 21st June 2017, at the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in the Joint Security Area (JSA), North Korea. Please ignore the date on the film itself, as I unfortunately never got around to updating it beforehand.
Special thanks to Koryo Tours for making this all possible!
