On Jan. 9, The Carter Center hosted the Forum in Honor of Jimmy Carter and the 45th Anniversary of the Normalization of U.S.-China Relations. U.S. Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns praised President Carter's extraordinary record of service. U.S. House of Representative Judy Chu of California's 28th District also shared a virtual message praising President Carter's courage and understanding of the power of diplomacy.
