Us Airways Flight 657 from Raleigh, NC to Charlotte, NC.
Aircraft: Airbus A320
Seat: 1A. I bought an upgrade the day before for $55.

Background info: I was asked by my uncle if I would go down with them to Greensboro, NC from Massachusetts and help move them into there new apartment, in return they paid for all my food and flight to get back.
Flight info: We left Greensboro at 7am for RDU. Got to RDU at 9:00 for a 11:20 departure. That's enough time for me to roam the airport and get some videos.
Boarding was supposed to begin at 10:50 but shortly after there was an announcement saying maintenance was onboard and departure is pushed back 55 minutes. More than half had to get rebooked due to the missing there connection. I had a 2 hr layover so it wasn't a problem, yet.
55 minutes passed. Another announcement was made, departure is pushed back another 30 minutes. More had to be rebooked but I was still fine but stress started to kick in because it was getting close for me from missing my connection.
30 minutes passed, another announcement, maintenance is just about done, but has to do some paperwork that takes about 15 minutes so boarding will begin in 15 minutes.
My layover is now about 10-15 minutes long. So I go up to a CSA and she say "get on this flight and try to make your original flight, but if you miss I put you on the next flight to Hartford" (BDL). I can now somewhat relax!!
Boarding began, and the whole gate was packed, but since I bought me a first class upgrade the day before, so I got to cut them all!! :-D
The flight goes by!! It has been 10 years since I flew class and it was GREAT!! My stress level dropped.
I get to CLT and literally run to my next flight. (I've never ran in an airport before). I get on, put my stuff at my seat, and go to the back to use the bathroom since I couldn't go or I could miss my flight. I had to go so bad I forgot to lock the door and someone opened it, bring my stress levels back up :-(
The flight goes by. Tropical storm Arthur was near New England so the flight got a little turbulent which is always fun!!
We land and I go to baggage claim. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes goes by, followed by an announcement " no more bags". Since I had a very short layover in CLT my bag did get transferred in time. But they delivered it to my house less than 24 hours later.
Other than the stressful moments and my bag not making it to BDL, I was pleased by Us Airways since it was my first time flying them, and I will definitely consider them again on another trip!
