The Cavern of Deceit isn't as tricky as the Cave of Selfishness, but it sure is more annoying. The spider room and the buzzsaw maze take a while to get through, and you may have go through this dungeon multiple times if you take the wrong path. It's easy to miss the mayor in the final room and take the ladder outside!
Moonglow is unremarkable. The only reason to come here is because Yew connects here and The Lyceum is near by.
You don't actually need a boat yet. Like the king said, you just use your magic rope above Moonglow to reach the cavern.
That upper right door in the buzzsaw maze? Don't ask me how you get inside it. I honestly think it's a red herring.
