Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity gives us the privilege of playing as Urbosa, and by extension, the first time we'd ever have a playable Gerudo without a name ending in "Dorf". Urbosa's playstyle uniquely revolves around managing a lightning meter that accumulates as you charge up, and depletes as you use vicious lightning strikes to augment your combos. Her ability to build up special meter in this way makes her extremely good at crowd control, while her ability to maintain combos in mid air lets her have a unique offensive presence on the battlefield!
So what is the “Warrior Showcase”, exactly? I wanted to make a new commentary series geared specifically towards "newer" players beginning their first steps into progressing the game. This primarily focuses on the strengths of a particular moveset, and give new players a taste of what’s waiting for them if they decide to invest heavily in their favourite warrior. I wanted to make this series similar to how we tackled Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition and Fire Emblem Warriors, where we look at each character from a long-term perspective.
Got any suggestions or feedback? Feel free to leave a comment below and I'll try to respond as soon as I can! Or, check me out on Twitter and give me a shout! ^^ // twitter.com/FullMetalYoukai
