Uprise Energy has developed the world’s first commercially sized portable wind turbine with battery storage and optional solar. The Uprise Energy Mobile Command Station is a 12kW wind turbine that is towable on its own wheels, fits in a 20’ shipping container, and sets up in one hour to produce clean, affordable electricity. The machine is designed to be especially efficient in low wind speeds, which allows it to be conveniently located near customers, particularly in areas that have historically relied on diesel generators for power.

The mobile nanogrid system generates, stores, and delivers power where you need it. With 200kWh of LFP battery storage, you could consider the machine as a large portable battery that recharges itself from the wind and the sun. The integrated hybrid inverter allows the turbine to be networked with other forms of generation on microgrids or connect to the utility grid in addition to its stand-alone, off-grid capabilities.
