Alongside our push for the final dozen-or-so episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, we also ran a contest to send some lucky winners to the then-recently-opened (and now sadly closed) Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. There was some behind-the-scenes wrangling going on the whole time, with sales not being sold on the merits of a contest specific to a "niche" show; it actually turned out to be one of the most popular contests we ran during my time there.
