Ever hit the caps lock key by accident? Me too. Today I'm going to modify a Cherry MX Silent Black switch to a 1000g activation force. Most key switches take between 50 and 60g to activate. A kilogram is a heck of a lot of force. Will I even be able to press the key?
The keyboard featured is a GMMK with Domikey SA Dolch keycaps. Switches are a mixture of Cherry MX Silent Reds and Blacks (the heavier blacks on the modifier keys). It's a hotswappable keyboard using Kailh sockets. Oh and QMK silencing clips from Uniqey.
