Upgrade to a bronze pickaxe - My Time At Portia
1 - You should already have a pickaxe from one of the starting missions, if you need a new one you can craft it at the worktable for wood and stone.
2 - Go to the mines and gather at least 12 copper ore and 3 tin ore, its wise to spend a full day mining normally to be efficient.
3 - run into town to Total tools to buy an upgrade kit, it costs about 300G. You can sell some of your items to the shop if you are short of cash
4 - Head back to your house
5 - Put the copper ore and tin ore into a furnace to make 2 bronze bars
6 - Assemble everything together at the workstation
