Great news Apple's latest Moac OS Sequoia update 15.5 fixes Continuity when running your user account home folder on an external SSD. 15.4.1 was the issue with copy paste from your iphone to your mac. Thumbs up to Apple for the fix. This update also includes a firmware update so be sure to just let it do it's thing as my mini was black for about a minute or so during the reboot after the firmware update.
