In this video, we’ll take a look at the updated Aberration Remover 2.0 Python script in Siril. Aberration Remover (AR) is an AI-powered tool designed to correct optical aberrations in astrophotography images. It works on both stars and non-stellar details, helping to clean up and refine the entire frame. AR can correct monochromatic aberrations such as defocus, astigmatism, coma, trefoil, spherical aberration, as well as other higher-order optical distortions, resulting in sharper, more accurate images.
