Chris Majestic | Update On My Google Wifi Issues @ChrisMajestic | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 14 hours ago
First I want to start by saying that the Google Wifi support team is awesome and I appreciate them reaching out to me to address this issue. The problem I have is that after being constantly connected to an access point for over an hour or so the connection speed drops significantly. The only way I can improve the speed is to disconnect and reconnect to the network. I am still working with Google support to try and figure out the problem and they have released an update that helped but I just wanted to give you guys a quick update on the situation.
I also had issues with Linksys Velop. The problem I had with Velop was that the mesh units would not stay connected to the main router. After finally getting them connected I had issues with devices dropping off the network for no apparent reason. It's possible that I had a defective system or maybe a bad firmware update. I would certainly consider reviewing the Linksys Velop in the future barring any issues.
