Sorry, that was weird. Anyways, yes hello. I have a lot to tell you guys, aka the loyal viewers, ''loyal'' as in those who I haven't bored yet. I'll go by each of my "series" so read w/e interests you. *enthusiastic dorky tone of voice* So let's get started, shall we?:
*STRANGERS*
I don't know if it's obvious, but I got bored of Strangers a whileeee ago, a little after the S1 finale. But no, I shall not cancel it, because I have planned everything and I'm too attached to the characters. What I'm saying regarding Strangers is that there won't be a Season 3, but S2 has more episodes to come. However, I'll be slow with it, because working on something that doesn't interest you is a big drag. I admit, I still enjoy working on it when I do, but like...it's nothing exciting. I'm sorry that I feel this way, but I can't help it. Maybe I'm just not consistant or serious enough, which makes me seem like a jerktard that doesn't care about his viewers, but when you think about it, why should I be all those things? I'm not taking your money for these videos & you're not helping me out with anything, therefor I shouldn't feel guilty. But alas, I do. There are people ( a lot less than in the past) who ask me when are more episodes to come. I wish I could make videos in a flash, but it's a long process that requires spare time and motivation. I'm really sorry if I disappoint you, but as you can see I'm trying my best by not cancelling Strangers & when I promise to finish it I'll keep my promise as long as my game is working.
*VOLATILE*
Not much to say about Volatile. Everything stays as it is. I love working on it a lot and always want to once I get home, but I have a ton on my plate this year and that's why I'm slow with it as well. Once summer comes, though, when not enjoying the freedom I'll be poping episodes out, because I have A LOT of ideas. Some lame, some cool, some just stupid- you'll decide.
*ICONOCLAST* ( HERE'S THE PART WHERE YOU CLOSE THE TAB CUZ LONG TEXT)
Ah, fuck. I don't know where to begin. I'll be 100% honest with you and won't pull any bullshit that will make you dislike me less. SO. I REALLY wanted to make a voice-over. Just for the sake of doing a voice-over. I felt like I was becoming boring. Teen "drama"/comedy type series are literally everywhere and there's new sims channels 24/7 and active members of our so-called community focus more on new comers, which is totally understandable & fair. However, I kinda felt pushed back behind a dumpster, especially once I focused more on Volatile and less on Strangers. Naturally, I wanted to do something different. Not to bring attention back to me, but rather feel like a part of something and voice-over projects are like teams & making some new friends seemed like fun. Everything seemed to be going okay. I was happy when people who I asked to voiceact for me agreed. I was excited, I swear. BUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT I soon discovered ...well, REMEMBERED that I suck major monkey testicles when it comes to making voice-over series. Why? Because usually for voice-overs I get these ideas that seem possible to produce with sims in my head, but NOPE, THEY'RE ACTUALLY NOT. Well, for some people they might be a piece of cake, but I suck. And I ALWAYS notice these dilemas too late. I made the script: fine, cool. I got the lines from VAs: YAAAASHHH GAGA! I sit down to film and....WHAT. A long car driving scene during which characters have a convo? How am I supposed to make that scene with numerous animations? How would I film the background? I'd have a 10 second clip that repeats itself over and over and over which is annoying. Use real life bg? Sure, BUT IT LOOKS WEIRD AF. And the scene is AT NIGHT. I don't have any legit pro cameras. A WOLF FIGHT USING SIMS 2 PETS DOGS? How about impossible. Possible, but it would look ridiculous. I asked a friend I met on a website who makes 3D animations to animate some wolves for me, he agreed, but never did it. Messaged him numerous times, but his account is dead. So then what? Have them doggies fight in smoke? Lovely. And how do I make a sim dog jump through a fucking window? See, I get all these impossible to produce ideas and that's why I suck so much and should never make a voice-over again. I cancelled every single voice-over series attempt and they are A LOT. It really sucks and you probably think I'm an idiot, or none of this made any sense to you. It's alright, I don't blame you. Lot's of people think I'm mentally challenged or something, so I won't be offended if you throw some insults of that type at me. Feel free to express how typical this is of me and how undedicated and what a slacker you think I am. I've been at this for a while, so let's not be fake. I'm sorry. Really sorry to my VAS. You guys are amazing and I wasted your time. Iconoclast is cancelled.
*MORE INFO* I have a short new subtitled series in mind for this summer. Tell me if you want me to release the cast video soon or wait til summer & be surprised.
