BIG update for American Military living in Germany: Remonon now makes your refund automatic when using the VAT program with eligible Amazon purchases!

Remonon has integrated Amazon Business into its VAT-refund process, making online shopping much easier for eligible U.S. military members and families in Germany. With your Remonon Amazon Business account, eligible purchases are automatically submitted for VAT refund, meaning no uploading individual Amazon receipts. Remonon then processes the VAT reimbursement through its program.
Here are some of the highlights:
• Amazon Prime is included with the Remonon Amazon Business account
• Eligible Amazon purchases are automatically submitted for VAT refund
• Remonon billing information appears on the invoices
• Products from ineligible vendors are excluded
• The system can warn you when your purchase may contain an ineligible item
• Purchases must be made in EUR, not USD
• There is currently a €250 per-day purchase limit
• You must have an active VAT Form before ordering
• Returns are automatically processed through the system
The goal is to remove one of the biggest headaches of using the VAT program online: figuring out which purchases qualify and manually submitting receipts afterward.
If you're eligible for the U.S. Forces VAT Relief Program and already shop on Amazon Germany, this could make using your VAT benefits considerably easier.
