Playing back - it does sound like my speech is getting better. I still don't like it but we'll see how far I can improve my speech for content. In short, I currently have top braces on, a top appliance, bottom appliance, going to get 4 teeth removed, and then put the bottom braces on in November.
I'm projected to have the appliances in (what's causing the difficulty in speaking) for around 6 months but can become shorter or longer once shifting progresses.

It's gonna be fun... yay...
