In this video, I upgraded my smaller balcony patio planter pot to a bigger one using a storage tote container bin I got from Home Depot. It's about 27 gallons which is about 2x bigger in capacity than my previous pond. I have it stocked with minnows and a couple of comet goldfish. You don't need to have a large back yard to have a water garden. I'm also using a simple Hamburg matten filter setup which is just a thick block of foam with a pump to help circulate filter the water.
