Upcoming top demon by me and @marinergmd
GP is all by me and we have both done one deco part so far. This is the first half of the level. It is intended to be an unofficial sequel to Arcturus, following similar structure and gameplay mechanics. The next half will be also decorated by us 2!
The level is currently planned to be verified by me, hopefully beginning later this year, maybe around July, August-ish.
Been really fun working on this level and with Mariner honestly, never really pushed myself to working on a hell level before and imo this is some of my best both gameplay and deco! I am super proud of the gameplay I was able to make, even if a bit... ship based... o-o
Warning: This is the unnerfed version! This version if verified would probably be like top 10 or something ridiculous lmao.

I have this and 25-71 so far. I was gonna include 25-71 but ig I just didnt clip it lol. I have around 14k attempts so far, most of these being playtesting, Im enjoying it thus far and it is most definitely quite a lot harder than grim.
FYI - Meatius has given me this as a now private verification, and I have been allowed to make changes. I have made overall changes to the level regarding structuring as well as balancing, this run is harder than 36-100 on the original copy.
My version overall is probably the same difficulty if not a bit harder than the original.
This run is probably roughly the same difficulty as 23-100 on Torrent, and around 29-100 on GRIM, baring in mind that the hardest part of this level is 0-36. This will probably take me some time but I am positive that I can do it!

First list challenge in ages! Yay!!
I really do not like this level at all, it is probably my least favourite wave challenge on the list to be honest, I was really disappointed by it. When I first saw the level, I thought it looked fun except for the last spam. I did not end up liking much of the gameplay for a few reasons. I will criticise the level below but bare in mind this is just my thoughts and to be honest I can very much understand why people like this level so much, just wanna give my opinion hopefully constructively.
These reasons included the spam at the end, which I was correct in thinking sucked. I dont think it fits like at all and its just really bad gameplay, not sure why its there. I also thought that the gameplay was quite overbuffed some part, not in verification obviously, but there were some mini wave one spaces that I just thought did not fit at all. This level wouldve been more fun imo if it was a bit easier, like low diamond difficulty.
A big flaw I found with this level is HOW it is balanced. It is by far middle heavy, which I dont mind by itself, however, this level is balanced by all mini waves being automatically the hardest part because most if not all of the gameplay is on grid. This just doesnt play well imo and I did not enjoy it due to this. All the big waves were just cutscenes compared to the mini waves.
Another big flaw I found was the decoration, which is very obstructive, especially in hard parts, which made a level that is already visually hard due to structuring, even more visual based. Even the chokepoints of this level had visual obstruction which was just horrible to play with.
This level is also just kinda my idea of exactly what a chokepoint heavy level should not be. This is because the level is on grid and so the only way that inputs are harder than others is due to factors that isnt just the gap, such as visuals, whether it is a click or release, sync etc. Sync is something a lot of parts of this level just seems to be inconsistent with, some parts sync well, some parts dont. It ended up having a few releases which are the same gap as many other easy ones in the levels, but felt unfairly harder due to these factors.
Anyways, whether Id recommend this level, honestly, probably, since so many people seem to like it, Im probably just the odd one out. I just personally definitely do not like this challenge, but Im glad I gave it a go and beat it. If you do go for it, good luck and I hope you enjoy it more than I did! Lol.
Oh yeah Im also probably the unluckiest victor forever after loads of deaths past 60% including 4 deaths to the last spam.

A bit about the level itself, this is a remake of AeonAir Challenge 2. Yes, I know, it is not original. But who cares. I made the layout for fun one night and decided to decorate and verify it. To be completely honest, I do not like the gameplay at all, but mainly just because it is timing based and... that is just not my thing. I tried to keep the gameplay similar in vibe to AAC2 but, I mean I just dont like that style of gameplay really. Really glad to have this finally done and out though! I really hope other people do enjoy this though, I wouldnt be too surprised if they dont but, I think its worth giving it a shot. Also omg this looks so easy on video but it really isnt.
Difficulty opinion: Harder than Gloom and easier than Sinister Vermilion. Is quite a bit harder than aac2 imo as well.
Oh and btw I am not dropping Arcturus I just did this in the middle.

Hey, if you cant tell, I am returning to this! Yippee!! so yeah this was day 2 of returning to this level, Ive actually been having a lot of fun on the return, with runs such as 25-86 (a new best run by miles) as well as a light 58-100, 46-93 and 33-88. Hopefully will be able to get a cuber attempt or at least a decent iris attempt soon lol. Wish me luck Im probably gonna need it, and hopefully wont be dropping it again.
