"Up On The Housetop" is a 25-minute TV special that aired in 1992.
The special stars the scroogy, grumpy Curtis Calhoun, a man initially disenchanted with Christmas, who finds himself locked out on the roof of his apartment building on a fateful night.
During the night, he sees Santa Claus going down the building's chimney. Santa tells Curtis that he hasn't lost Christmas, but that "Christmas is where you find it" .
This chance rooftop encounter sparks a transformation in Curtis, and the following morning, he decides to bring the spirit of Christmas to his fellow tenants in the building.
