4014 and 2102 each start their respective trains up out of Pittston Depot towards Mountain Top. Which do you like better? 2102 has the longer consist (24 cars & 2 diesels vs 16 cars, 2 diesels, and 2 water cars), but 4014's consist is effectively heavier (~1900 tons including diesels vs. 1560 tons minus diesels since they are heard providing assistance to the 2102 in this clip). Welcome to the SEPTA B Line, formerly known as the Broad Street Line. You will be responsible for dispatching the morning rush period from 6:30am to 9am. All 3 branches of the B Line are running at ~7 minute intervals, as per the official SEPTA timetable available online.
As usual, the map is laid out as close to scale as possible, and sensors placed to allow full automation of this scenario. In particular, the complex that is Fern Rock Terminal is set up in a way that allows you to be creative in which routings you choose to use for specific service patterns.
