This was 3D printed for a friend as a gift, it uses 3D Printed lithophanes.
Traditionally lithophanes where etched artworks made in very thin translucent porcelain, that can only be seen clearly when back lit with a light source. This was designed using Photo2mesh and printed on the UP Plus 3D Printer at 0.15mm per layer using cream PLA. Photo2Mesh and UP 3D Printers available from 3DPrintingsystems.com
