The irony is unreal. New Zealand sits on some of the world's largest untapped energy and renewable resources, yet Kiwis are facing skyrocketing power bills, high petrol prices, and job losses at local mills.

Are we letting politics and ideology get in the way of actual science and energy security? It's time to properly survey what’s right beneath us instead of guessing.
