Hey everyone! Today, I bring you the first music video made for the premiere I did for Unsung Duties last year. For those unaware, Unsung Duties was an album of original tracks I released November 5th, that you can check out in its entirety on Bandcamp, YouTube Music, Spotify and iTunes. And it followed the theme of coming up with unique music for events and Duties in Final Fantasy XIV that were significant in the game's story, but not enough to get their own songs. Hence: Unsung Duties. I was hesitant to put these videos out on YouTube, due to Square vaguely stating how they didn't like people putting their official assets with external IPs, etc. However, I recently learned that bigger YouTube-channels have done this already, making their relations to the corresponding FF even more clear than I ever intended to, so screw it. I might as well put these videos out as well. Enjoy!
This track is more supposed to be an opening song that isn't really tied to any event in FFXIV. The song, and the video tied to it, where meant to set expectations for the rest of the album, and hype the listener up a bit to get started. And so, a lot of the footage featured in this video were put there to give you an indication for what was to come, as it was footage that was to be used for the videos for the rest of the album.
