I listened to King of Scars at the end of October, and I love Nikolai, Zoya and the rest of the Grisha Triumvirate/the Twins so much that I even decided to suffer through the original trilogy for them. I thought Nikolai was perfect for this theme, though. It was a struggle figuring out what to do for spies, but I really like how this turned out! Very grateful for everyone in the server for feedback to the wips.

Final collection of the year! The first half of the year has basically blended into my memories of 2020 because time is still super meaningless. Yes, another Lee and Lyra edit, this time to All My Life by WILD, but I have been waiting for months to edit these two after I finished re-reading the books because I could only find one piece of fanart, so I crossed my fingers and hoped the show would give me some content to work with, and they gave us all the content!! The end of the episode has left me with so many feelings, especially knowing whats coming up, and I loved that they kept the part where Lee asks for more money. I actually thought they might take it out given how close Lee and Lyra were in episode 5, which would be a shame for his character development in season 2, but they managed to keep it and have it make sense, and him admitting that he loves Lyra is so, so good!
I loved the rest of the episode as well, especially the scene with Mrs Coulter and Lyra and seeing them trying to manipulate one another. I have plans to edit things with Mrs Coulter, but Im waiting for the finale because Im so interested to see how its going to pan out.
Im so excited for tonight. Its Ioreks time to shine, and I swear, this week Im going to make the vid involving Iorek that Ive been planning since episode 4.

Merry Christmas, Nico! Hope youre having a good holiday! I forgot to upload this ahead of time, and Im never on my laptop on Christmas day, so I know youve seen it, but I wanted to upload this anyway! This kinda killed me editing a little because I realised I dont know what to do when handed a blank cheque to edit fx as opposed to when someone tells me exactly what I want, but I had an absolute blast editing Timmy for you! There was a vague theme here around Tim planning for the perfect party vs the reality of him ending up blackout drunk on the floor, but I had to cut the part where I planned to make that clear because I ran out of time/inspo. Whoops. XD
Anyway, you absolutely need to go check out @syvxnico, their fx editing is incredible and more than a little intimidating to make a gift for.

A not-so-little multifandom Ive gifted myself today to Get Up by Shinedown. I didnt actually intend to make this for my birthday, I only started the edit on Monday, but I couldnt stop listening to this song after Sarges LGBTQ+ MEP sign up because its just the kind of song that I really need to hear when the world is raising my anxiety levels. So, yeah, inspiration hit hard, and I was done by last night. I crammed so many fandoms/characters I love in here, media list is at the bottom. It was hard to pick what to put in, so it ended up being a weird mashup of things I edit all the time and characters that Ive never gotten around to yet like Soren and Kirishima. Im really happy with how this turned out, it was a super therapeutic edit. Ive also had a really nice day, in spite of the lockdown (sparing a thought for my brother whose birthday is in a few days and ended up in lockdown alone, hes getting Amazon packages for presents. XD)
