Calling out the irrational Dub Haters: 49:03 (In which I point out that criticism and giving advice to improve the dub is not equal to outright sending threats to the new VA/composer for stuff the producers decide, along with me poking fun at those who thought the 4Kids dub was somehow 1:1 with the Japanese original and was thus just as well made, hence the "weeb" bit)
Moderate Spoiler warning, as I spoil everything but the climax of the movie. There's also no movie footage due to copyright concerns and very little pictures of Pokemon related things for that reason, so it's just me and you, for nearly an hour.
A VERY rambly episode in which I say "However", "Dumb" and "In a Way" more times than I can count. probably my most rambly UM episode of them all due to how I recorded this the moment I got home from the theater before bed (with little drinks of water afterward), but at least you hear my unscripted thoughts on the new Pokemon movie, the dub music, and the VA. (along with me condemning the more irrational haters of the new dub, yet again.)
This is a special episode due to the movie getting a US release and technically kickstarts the Pokemon anime retrospective planned for 2018 a bit early, but I think the future episodes are going to be a lot better since they aren't going to be part of the Unscripted Memories banner. I have a special episode planned next month exclusively for Vidme so stay tuned, but in the meantime, enjoy this rambly review!
