In this Unreal Engine 5 horror game dev progress update, I showcase new enhancements that bring even more life to our blueprints! In addition to refining the lift visuals with Quixel assets from the Fab store, I’ve added immersive sound effects to our blueprints. Now, when the lift doors open or we turn the statue, you can hear the grinding of stone, adding depth and realism to the experience.
If you’re curious about sound placement techniques, be sure to check out my previous tutorial on adding sound effects to the phone blueprint, where we learned how to position sounds effectively in 3D space.
As always, I’ve left room for your creativity—customize the look of your lift to suit your project’s unique style. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for future Unreal Engine 5 horror game updates!
