Two young athletes running in a three mile race were pushing as hard as they could to outrun the other because the winner's team would qualify for the state meet.
Deb Guthmann and Jenna Huff were only 50 yards from the end of the race when one of them did something unprecedented that brought everyone in the stands and on the field to tears.
