I really attribute a big portion of the success I have in the Music Industry to NOT moving to L.A. or being signed to a Major Label as an Artist. Its so easy to get lost in the sauce with all the incredibly talented people out there. The only way to stand out is to be yourself, be self sufficient, and carve out a niche that works for you. I sadly know too many Producers who cant afford to pay their rent and have a grammy.
