Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player controls a character called Boyfriend, who must defeat a series of opponents in order to continue dating his significant other, Girlfriend. The player must pass multiple levels, referred to as "weeks", each containing three songs. Each week, the player faces a different opponent, though some deviate in structure from this via the inclusion of multiple opponents. During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes (represented as arrows) which the player must then mirror by using the arrow keys or the W, A, S, and D keys. Some songs introduce more complicated patterns, with the player's pattern sometimes varying from the opponent's or both singers engaging in a duet.

Team Tangy, formed over time by JohnADon68, MoffinMouse & Sillylasagna alongside the rest of the team is a collaborative group that started with John and Mouse creating Tangy the Rat(e), which led to members like Calli, Drifter! and SillyLasagna to participate.
Tangy is not officially a product of SEGA inc. but is rather inspired by the fan sonic.exe related character Wacky the Ezrio. Tangy stars in a developing story written by SillyLasagna, MoffinMouse and ElectricKitsune1 (or EKit1 for short) alongside the input of other members of the team. The team appreciates all support and accept fanart (Must be SFW and be non-suggestive.) We as a team are proud of what we accomplished with Tangy as a group and hope that we can continue bringing what we have given you all thus far through what we do with Tangy and the rest of the colorful cast of characters!!!
