I finished Shadowbringers 5.0, but years of blue unlock quests are still waiting.
Today, the 1.0 VET RETURNS series is taking a break from the FFXIV Main Scenario Quest to clear blue feature quests and unlocks from A Realm Reborn through Shadowbringers.
Expect optional dungeons, trials, raids, alliance raids, side stories, system unlocks, and whatever else those blue quest icons have been hiding.
I played the original Final Fantasy XIV 1.0, disappeared for years, and returned with a massive backlog of optional content. Before moving deeper into the MSQ, it is time to find out how much of FFXIV I completely skipped.
Current progress:
• MSQ: Shadowbringers 5.0 complete
• Job: Dark Knight
• Objective: Clear blue unlock quests from ARR through Shadowbringers
• Long-term goal: Catch up before Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold

• Heavensward unlocks
• Stormblood unlocks

• Optional dungeons, trials, and raids

• Returning-player reactions and discoveries
• Catching up before Evercold
