Yesterday I made a video about a secret finishing move called let’s go clubbing that you can unlock for free by performing one finishing move on an enemy operator while playing on the new Vondel Map.
Since then a couple of other secret challenges have been discovered, One which will unlock the Anchored to Death Weapon charm and another which will unlock a blueprint for the unreleased Tonfa melee weapon which is called Lions Share.
Before we jump into it, I just wanted to say thanks to both benniemanfrankin & cardinal from the covert discord server as well as Grumpycat116 from my youtube comment section who let me know about these new challenges.
So first is the Anchored to Death Weapon Charm and this is unlocked by getting one operator kill on the vondel map while completely submerged under water. You can’t be floating on top of the water when you get your kill, you need to be completely submerged under for it to count towards the Unlock.
The other challenge for the Lions Share melee weapon blueprint is to get 25 Operator Melee Kills on the Vondel Map. This can be straight up kills while you’re using a melee weapon, It can be melee kills that you get while your holding a regular gun, so a gunbutt kill or you can even shoot a player with your gun to down them and then finish them off with a melee and it will count towards the progress for this challenge.
The absolute easiest way to get these melee kills will be to make use of the classic AFK Strat. Basically you start a game of resurgence, ride the plane till the end of the line where it forces you out of the plane and you can melee all of the people that are AFK farming XP at the moment.
If you find that the end of the line drops all of the players into the water aswell then you can use this to also get your underwater kill to unlock the weapon charm.
Once you do have the melee blueprint unlocked, If you did wanna unlock the base version of the weapon you can simply use your insured slot in DMZ to take the weapon in and it will unlock once you successfully extract out!
So those are the 3 known secret unlock challenges on vondel at the moment, I’m sure there will be at a couple more to discover so if you discover any for yourself make sure to let myself and others know down in the comment section below.
