IT IS I, PLUTO! Firstly I wanna say, I love the concept and vibe of this song. So, listen, check it out, shhh no talking while the substitute teacher is reading the syllabus. OK. I wrote this song about social media typecasting. Every artist under the sun has written songs about how social media is bad for the consumers, no one really written a song from the perspective of an influencer. There are a few people that come to mind when I wrote this song. On tik tok, There’s a guy who literally says creamy at the end of his videos, there’s also girl who eats the fruit including the rind. There’s ALSO a guy in a cowboy hat that just says "alllll rightttt" and then says "WHAT" at the end of his video when something crazy happens. Now these 3 people I’m using as examples, let’s dig deeper. Do these videos explain who they are? Do you think they want to keep posting that same content? I personally don’t think so. Tik Tok’s algorithm favored that specific piece of content they randomly made, so they felt like they have to keep posting it. The moment they post something else, the number isn’t as high. In my opinion, it isn’t fair to them nor the consumers. People keep saying influencing isn’t authentic, I think THIS might be why. Or at least, this might be a major contributor.
