It's been getting harder to finish these songs, the deadlines are getting crazy, BUT I just got a drum kit so PREPARE FOR NEW STUFF. Anyway, this song is about conspiracy theories, and how some spread like wildfire forming cults, and belief systems. When I was doing research for this song I came across SO many crazy ones, especially the Lizard People one. YO!! Ok so this is Addict, this was a VERY difficult song to write. I went through a couple variations of it, I wanted to make a clear cut rock song, but with a little freshness/weirdness. I approached this song with a classic pop rock feel, with a sense of looseness in the verses. The entire song was inspired by the movies Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas and Point Break (which is where adrenaline junkie comes from). I wanted the whole song to be like FULL THROTTLE BRO, intenseness, high energy, off the richter scale, WHOA DUDE CHILL, NO BRO NOT CHILLIN.......so THAT is Addict, I’ll do this for every song.
