During August of 1954, Mount Palomar in the United States became the setting for an extraordinary gathering devoted to mysterious flying aircraft and unexplained encounters. Held at an altitude of more than one thousand eight hundred metres, the convention attracted people eager to exchange information about strange objects appearing in the skies and experiences that remained outside conventional understanding.
More than a thousand people reportedly attended, including journalists, investigators, witnesses and curious members of the public.
